FAQs

SHOPPING INFORMATION

My order shows that it has been returned to the sender, now what?

There are a few reasons why an order can be returned to the sender, but most of the time this is due to an address that could not be delivered. Or the package is not collected at customs or is refused / returned by the end customer himself. You will receive a notification once the order returns to our facility.

What happens if the order is lost during shipping?

For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date. We will cover the costs of reprinting and shipping a replacement order for you.

How are the mugs made?

The cup is inkjet printed. After printing, the transfer paper is wrapped around the cup and the image on the transfer paper is mirrored. Heat and pressure are applied to transfer the image. The printed dye is mixed with the coating. The image then becomes part of the cup.

How are the products packaged for shipping?

We pack each item according to dimensional requirements to ensure protection during shipping.

How do you pack the frames?

The paintings are first wrapped in tissue paper to protect them from scratches and are then wrapped in a layer of adhesive bubble wrap. Finally, they are wrapped in a thicker and more resistant bubble wrap, which will provide additional protection during shipping.

How should I wash my printed garments?

We use the latest direct-to-dress (DTG) printing technology to offer a wide range of design color options and printable garments at an affordable price. The DTG ink in this process is different from that used by ink screen printers. Please note that the original manufacturer's care instructions do not take into consideration the DTG printing process. Be wary of washing and drying at high temperatures, especially when the garment is made of 100% cotton. High temperature washes, in fact, can fade and break the print; the settings of a high temperature dryer can shrink the garment and damage the print.

How can I check the status of an order?

From your Account on our website you will see your order history under Orders. When you choose a specific order, a new window will appear with further details.

Does Bellfish ship to all countries?

No, we do not ship to some countries due to legal restrictions or carrier limitations.

How soon can I file a claim for a return / exchange?

Any complaints for printed / damaged / defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks of receiving the product.

What happens if a frame breaks during shipping?

We guarantee every product from the moment we ship it until it is received by you. If an order arrives broken, damaged, incomplete or wrong, we will take care of resending your order to make sure you are happy with the product you ordered.

What happens if the product received is damaged?

We will ask you to verify with photos of the damaged goods sent, so we will be happy to send you a replacement at no cost to you.

What is the maximum size of a print file?

The maximum print file size that can be uploaded or synchronized in Bellfish is 200 MB.

Should I save my file as “Save for Web” in Photoshop and Illustrator?

Please save the file using only the “Save as type” item, as saving the files as “Save for Web” will automatically reduce the resolution of the graphic to 72 DPI. This may cause low quality and sizing problems with the final print.

Where do I find customer reviews?

On the Homepage you will find continuously updated reviews.

Can I send print files with a resolution of 300 DPI?

The T-shirt graphics are optimal with a minimum of 150 DPI: we accept higher resolution files, but it is better not to exceed 300 DPI.
For accurate prints, we recommend that you submit your final artwork with a minimum resolution of 150 DPI, but we also accept 300 DPI files.

What are the actual DPI, resolution and size of the print file?

These are the terms to help you:
Resolution is the measure of the pixels in the display, generally expressed in width x height. For example, a monitor that is 1920 x 1080 is 1920 pixels and 1080 pixels down.
DPI is the number of dots in a printed inch. The more dots there are, the higher the print quality.
The actual size is best described with real numbers. Imagine you have a 5 "x5" shape at 100 DPI which you need to make a 10 "x10". If you simply reduce it to twice its original size, you go from 5 "x5" to 10 "x10". Since the size has now doubled, the resolution has been reduced in half, that specific part of the graphics is now 50 DPI.

When sending your print files, we ask you to have at least 150 DPI and actual size. The resolution of any file is only as good as the size.
